You see, search engines do not charge for appearing in the organic search results. And, contrary to popular belief there is no mysterious force in the universe that cause random search results. Yet, without realizing it, if your site is not optimized for search engines then you’re missing out on the #1 resource for targeted traffic.

How do search engines work? Let me ask you this, “what do you do when you want to find something on the internet?” Like 49% of the online population you would go to Google and type in a specific search phrase right? That’s exactly what you need to know to construct your website to work with search engines. Find out what people are searching for first and then build your website around those key search phrases.

Then, once you’ve done that, you need to generate link popularity. That means, “how many other sites are linking to yours.” The more sites linking to yours the higher your search results. Unfortunately, when it comes to the kind of incoming links most people get it wrong. What’s the right way? Ah ha, that’s the million dollar question for which you will have to come to the free internet marketing course.

Now, picture yourself sitting down to write great web copy. Do you know how? In my experience, almost no one knows how to do this. I studied with some of the best internet copy writers around like Joe Vitale and David Garfinkel. How does it work? Essentially, you want to first create the intention of writing great copy, then go do something you love, then when you’re ready and feeling inspired, only then do you site down to write the copy. What happens when you do it this way? It writes itself.

OK, so now picture yourself in the enviable position of having loads of traffic to you site and they’re all sticking around to read your great copy, what then? Well, now’s your chance to convert them into sales. How? Did you know it takes an average of 4 – 7 visits to your site for most people to make a buying decision? Why? Because, there’s no trust. It’s very hard for people to trust your site the first time out. However, if they leave your site it’s likely that they’re not coming back. How do you get them back? By using something called auto-reponders. For example; you could offer something for free in exchange for an email address and that will give you the opportunity to communicate with them over time and get them to come back and visit your site.

Here’s and example of one of my pages that has an autoresponder on it. In exchange for a free piano lesson people join my mailing list and then I keep sending them new information until they either buy the course or unsubscribe.
