We have been Mannatech members for about 15 yrs. & love everything about it. The integrity of this co. is like nothing else. My husband has had 3 open heart surgeries (3 valve replacements & very enlarged heart since the age of 23) He is now 60 yrs. & uses the AO & cardio balance. When he has his check-ups at the Mazinkowski Heart Institute in Edmonton every yr. his heart specialist always tells him " I don't know what you're doing but keep doing it". He also has a pace maker. We cannot say enough about Mannatech products! Usually when people can't make money in MLM companies it's not the products it's the compensation plans. They are designed to "flush" if you don't meet a certain level. So if you're looking to find a MLM to do business stay away from any co. that has levels. Only the top people are going to make money. We will never stop taking Mannatech products but I have found a co. that has NO levels & only 2 legs & is designed to let everyone make money, from the bottom to the top. There is NO flushing, levels, you can never lose your spot, & there are 5 income streams & they have excellent products!

"less is more"
yes, less factual information = higher sales
(I wonder how Mies van der Rohe would feel about his famous design principle being misapplied by the uninformed)

Yes, Mannatech products can help diabetes. If you buy their products, you'll have little money left for junk food.

"Duly noted. But have you used the product...?"
Many people drink milk. A percentage of them will contract disease. A smaller percentage will experience "miraculous" cures". Some of those cured will assoiciate the miracle with religious faith. Others will believe it is due to Ambrotose- if they take it. If milk were marketed my Mannatech, surely some would thank God for cattle. Never-the-less, it is all bs.

Thanks for setting things straight, Paul. I use the products and I absolutely love it. Many lives have been changed. Anything wonderful will be persecuted. That's a sad reality. Nonetheless, Mannatech is a company with integrity and a love to help people and children.

I am an associate with Mannatech, but I don't sell to anyone else. I tell people how much it has helped me, which would be considered "promoting" the product. I have had NO problems with the company. In fact, the products may be responsible for keeping an inoperable brain tumor dormant in my hear. Since the only way to really know would be to stop taking, I'll never know. I refuse to take the risk, especially with 2 young children to raise. So, I hope anyone who wishes to do harm to Mannatech will think twice about the lives the products could be saving.

Thanks for this blog Paul. I am not a Manna user but I have tried MLM. I tried 2 different companies before giving up after a couple of months. Wearing a "Loose Weight Now ask me how" badge and standing in shopping malls and trying to make eye contact with overly-large women as a male is very, very dangerous! In the Gym, trying to strike up conversation about body type with a sweaty overweight gent is also not wise. In 21 days, 6 hours a day, I sold zip. This was my first attempt. In South Africa, so many people have joined MLM's and then end up bailing after a few months.

My wife's cousin is a Chartered Accountant and a superb business man. One drawback is his limited vocab and a stammer that appears from time to time. Yet he is a very successful sales trainer. He is currently being mentored by Sales Partner, Bryan Singer and his team. I believe the key to any MLM member's success is not so much the product, but the training they receive. In my case, I had no problem writing emotively to either generate tears of compassion or tears of laughter, dependent on what I wanted to convey. The problem is when I opened my mouth, everything falls apart. The cuz closes deals because people like him and he knows how to get an immediate commitment to buy from him irrespective of the product being offered. It's the way he raises questions and leads people to a path of discovery of a need they did not know they had. Socratic method?

Maybe the issue with Mannatech is not so much the credibility of their product, but how their members are presenting themselves? Irrespective of the negative publicity of "The Scam"; if you like/trust someone, you will try the product, if it has beneficial results, you will continue to use it, in spite of what others say.
