Local symphony-goers have never seen anything quite like this.

Music lovers who are usually stirred by challenging classical compositions will savour a flashy, toe-tapping musical bash when pianist Paul Tobey debuts his Spanish-scented Road to Santiago Suite on Feb. 18 with the Brantford Symphony Orchestra.

“This is a show,” Tobey says, gesturing to emphasize the all-out effort to entertain with colourful lighting, costumes and pops-style songs.

What: A Musical Journey through Spain: the Road to Santiago Suite. Performed by Paul Tobey, the Brantford Symphony Orchestra and the Grand River Chorus
